I have budget Amount which is by Month. I have a report that runs weekly every month. Actual Amount grows by charges weekly but budget is fixed. How can l split budget amount weekly to properly reflect close comparative view

Week 1:  Actual - 1000 Budget - 6500

Week 2:  Actual - 2500 Budget - 6500

Week 3:  Actual - 4900 Budget - 6500

Week 4:  Actual - 6700 Budget - 6500

 

I Need:

Week 1:  Actual - 1000 Budget - 6500÷4

Week 2:  Actual - 2500 Budget - 6500÷3

Week 3:  Actual - 4900 Budget - 6500÷2

Week 4:  Actual - 6700 Budget - 6500÷1

 

Is there a way to query using actual calendar date to split the budget by when report is run? It could be split by day not necesarilly by week.

 

All help appreciated. Thanks so much.

Hi all,

 

Using SAP BOBJ 4.1 SP8, but we have 1 error.

 

I tried to create the same report on the BI Launch Pad but when I selected the universe i get a 10-20sec wait and then an error:

(CS) “Driver not capable: Middleware does not support settings DateFormat [DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI:SS]”. (IES 10901)(Error : INF)

So what can i do to solve this issue?

Help me to resolve this issue.

Reproducing the Issue

BI Launch pad logon -> application -> Web Intellgence -> New -> Universe -> select UNV/UNX(based on oracle)

-> When the error occurs, select the universe

 

cf. based on sybase unx/unv is not problem.

 

 

- AIX 7.1.0.0

- Oracle 11g (CMS+Audit DB)

- SAP BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.1 SP08

 

 

 

Please help.

  If I include in the report the qty sum matches with detail report qty sum. If I remove the account I'd in summary report there is an minor difference when compared with detail.

Niraj -I get error using the formula where my dateobject is Month / Year key. Error: The expression uses an invalid data type. Appreciate all help. Thanks.    [Budget]/DayNumberOfMonth([DateObject])

Looks like your DateObject is of string type you need to convert to date type as DayNumberOfMonth needs date as input

What would I do in the following example if I wanted it to only count all of the M10 agreement types?

I did andl got multivalue error.Sum( [Budget]/DayNumberOfMonth(ToDate([Month / Year Key]; "PY/MMM/YYYY"))

 

Note - my Datetype Object of Month / Key  is PT/005/2017

Hi there,

 

Does anyone know how to keep the hierarchy sort order when using a filter on a Webi Report?  When I put a filter on any field in the report; the hierarchy sort gets replaced with an ascending or descending on the hierarchy's leafs...

1. I want to send automatic notifications when there is update on report.

I am trying to do this on the client side only...

 

2. I wonder if I can save the report in some location, convert to XML automatically & publish on the web...

Sateesh,

The process which you mentioned seems to be too simple,but kindly share the screen shot of the process.

 

Why because, Usually we store the images in bo server level and using boimg function we add the images from image directory into the webi report.

 

I guess you understood my customer requirement correctly (when I click on the link in the webi report, image needs to be appeared)

 

Kindly let me know,are you sure the process you mentioned satisfies my requirement ?

Hi All,

 

I have a web i report which is having 8-10 fields and all fields are dimension objects only not even a single measure object.

 

But among 8 fields ,3 fields are having data and rest all are empty.

 

My client asked me,  mention a text called Null/N.A in the empty fields.

 

Kindly let me know, using text conditional formatting how can we achieve the requirement ?

 

Note : All fields are dimension objects.

Hi experts

 

I have an webi report (SAP BO 4.1 SP3) containing two columns year and average age of account.

 

Year               average age of acct

 

2010              242

 

2011              147

 

2012              #Overflow

 

2013              #Overflow

 

2014              385

 

2015              375

 

The issue is #Overflow  for 2012 and 2013 year. Investigated in SAP Bw BEX ANALYSER there is an average exist for both year. I am not having any filters or bex prompt though. I am in need to display the record for average account age for 2013 and 2014.
